Revolutionary New Locking Twin-Wheel Caster: Looks Great...Offers Unequalled Performance

Rolle 558 The new Jilson 2EM Series 5" CentraLok™ twin-wheel central locking caster offers, in addition to good looks, a number of design features which set it substantially apart from other locking casters:

1) an internal locking brake that positively locks both the wheel and the swivel,
2) substantially less force is required to engage the brake than is required by other casters,
3) the locking mechanism needs only a 30° rotation (rather than the 45° needed by other casters),
4) the lower locking force simplifies the design of the actuating mechanism of the bed, stretcher, table, cart or other equipment to which it is attached,
5) precision sealed ball bearings for the wheels and swivel protected by a caster body that, in itself, prevents dirt, hair, string, and other matter from entering and degrading performance,
6) lightweight and durable nylon construction for resistance to corrosion and easy washdown,
7) gray polyurethane wheels which roll easily on both hard and carpeted surfaces and
8) for ESD applications, optional antistatic gray polyurethane wheels that will not stain or mark floors.

Additional features include a load capacity of 330 lb (most 5" casters have a load capacity of only 220 lb), a selection of stem lengths for easy interchangeability with other caster brands, twin wheels to make swiveling easier and to eliminate wheel flutter as the equipment is pushed and a nut and bolt axle for strength, dependability and serviceability. Wherever central locking casters are required, the new Jilson CentraLok™ caster gives designers the ability to design a less complex and, very possibly, a less expensive and lighter weight actuating mechanism than before.
